Fue Hair Transplant

baseline post-operation-day-15
Day 10 Thrid Week

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) may be a minimally invasive hair transplant technique which uses the harvesting of follicular units containing one to four hair follicles on individual basis that are then transplanted to the areas of the scalp wherever a lot of hair is required. The grafts are removed and are placed within the recipient space. No linear scar is left and no stitches are required.

Just like with the normal FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) or Strip methodology, FUE uses the harvest home of vesicle units containing one to four hair follicles that are then transplanted to the areas of the scalp wherever a lot of hair is required. The vesicle units are on an individual basis placed utilizing the tested Radiance method of natural graft placement. This method of Natural graft placement ensures that the recreated hairline is customized to the patient's hair-growth pattern to see and feel natural

Difference between FUE and FUT

Follicular Unit Extraction is totally different from the normal FUT hair replacement procedure, in one key way: follicle units are on an individual basis removed directly from the scalp in FUE, whereas in FUT, follicle units are microscopically extracted from tissue that has already been removed from the donor area.

How Follicular Unit Extraction is performed

During the FUE hair transplantation procedure, individual follicle unit grafts are excised one at a time employing a little one millimetre in diameter (or less) instrument. The device is employed to form a little punch (circular incision) within the skin round the follicle unit to isolate the graft. The graft is then extracted directly from the scalp and ready for implantation.

Typically, the patient's hair within the donor space wherever these grafts are being removed is clipped, inhibit or virtually well-shaven in order that the medico is ready to optimally visualize the patient's scalp.

The tiny incisions left behind, after the follicular units are extracted, heal fast in few days. The small apertures contract as they heal, and spherical incision marks barely seen.

Benefits of FUE

  • No surgical knife incision = No Linear Scar
  • No Stitches - Donor space seems largely unchanged
  • Quicker Recovery time - very little or no period of time (most patients go to work next day)
  • State of the art minimally invasive hair restoration technique

Best Candidates for FUE

  • People who need to wear their hair short
  • People who don't need a linear scar

However, for most patients FUT remains the preferred method of hair transplantation. Only Radiance physician experts can help you determine which technique is best for you.
